What exactly do we need to do to get a course video taped?

The most cost effective way is to tape your course entirely over the course of a few days.

You simply communicate to us the availability of the lecture and we can schedule the taping on mutually agreed dates.

DLC will provide state of the art equipment necessary for the shooting as well as expert camera personnel.

Can we shoot the lecture series ourselves?

Absolutely.

You can opt to either video tape all your own material as well as edit or take advantage of our production crew.

Should you decide to do it yourself, once the course is ready, you can submit it to us for encoding.

How large a video file can each segment be?

Rule of thumb would set the maximum size of a single file to (about 2 to 4 hours).

However normally larger files can be compressed without degrading the quality.

Our account executive will be pleased to discuss these options with you in detail.

When will my course be ready to use?

Your course will be up and running on the web within 5 to 10 working days from completion of the taping.

The exact turnaround will be determined by the number of videos that need to be encoded.

How do the payments work?

The payments will vary according to your needs.

If you would like DLC to take care of the videography, 50% is due at agreement and 50% when the video goes live.

The basic set-up fee, annual password fee and annual server costs are due at agreement.

Can I limit who has access to the Analytics?

Yes. This is password protected, where the instructor has access to their content, but the Distance Learning Administrator has access to all courses.
